Abstract

The concept of poetry writing education in improving students' creativity is basically directed at forming attitudes, so that there is a balance of intellectual, intelligence, mental, physical and moral children, because during the junior high school age, children's mental and physical development is at a high stage of development so that to optimize their creativity, poetry writing education is one of the right ways to use. Therefore, poetry writing education should be a container or means for children to develop and express their creativity. Children's creativity at junior high school age is still very diverse according to the level of maturity and development of their brains. To improve the development of children's creativity so that it grows optimally, poetry writing education plays a very important role, namely as a means of facilitating children in expressing their thoughts and souls.
