Analisis Kinerja Keuangan Menggunakan Analisis Trend dan Common Size pada Perusahaan Industri Semen yang Terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia Periode 2020-2025

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the financial performance of cement industry companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, specifically PT Cemindo Gemilang Tbk and PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, for the 2020–2025 period using trend and common size analysis. The approach used is quantitative descriptive with secondary data in the form of annual financial statements obtained through documentation and literature studies. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The results indicate that based on trend analysis, the balance sheets of both companies experienced a downward trend in assets and liabilities. In the income statement, PT Cemindo Gemilang Tbk's current year profit fluctuated, recording losses in several periods, while PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk's profit fluctuated with a declining tendency but still maintained a profit position. The common size analysis results show that the asset structure of both companies is dominated by non-current assets. On the liabilities side, PT Cemindo Gemilang Tbk is dominated by liabilities, while PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk is dominated by equity as its main source of funding. In the income statement, cost of goods sold accounts for the largest proportion of total sales, suppressing the profitability of both companies.
