Pengaruh Potensi Desa dan Industri Hijau terhadap Pembangunan Kabupaten Kendal dengan Koperasi Desa Merah Putih sebagai Variabel Moderasi

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of village potential and green industry on the development of Kendal Regency with the Red and White Village Cooperative as a moderating variable. The study employed a quantitative approach using a survey method involving 266 respondents consisting of village heads, village officials, cooperative administrators, village-owned enterprise managers, and rural MSME actors in Kendal Regency. The sampling technique used proportionate stratified random sampling, while data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS 4 software. The results indicate that village potential has a positive and significant effect on the development of Kendal Regency. Green industry also has a positive and significant influence on regional development. Furthermore, the Red and White Village Cooperative significantly moderates the relationship between village potential and regional development as well as the relationship between green industry and regional development. The R-Square value of 0.742 indicates that the research model has strong explanatory power regarding regional development. The findings demonstrate that village-based development, green industry implementation, and strengthening village cooperatives are effective strategies for creating inclusive, sustainable, and equitable economic development. This study proposes a conceptual framework called “Green Village-Based Regional Development” as an approach to village-based and green economy-oriented regional development applicable to Kendal Regency.
